The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls for potential customer base, establish an ongoing rapport with existing customers and potential customers. Participate in business development by being highly responsive to customer needs, targeting new markets while maintaining existing auction business/customers. Assist with the development and maintenance of client relationships.
• Experience in the automotive industry/auction preferred.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience.
• Proven track record in cold calling customers for new business and growing accounts from existing customer base. Established contact with auto dealers is ideal.
• Reputation and track record for consultative selling in the automotive area.
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business related field is ideal.
• Computer experience with Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience with auction operating systems is preferred.
• Ability to make key decisions, handle conflict and overcome obstacles. Ability to work independently while being a part of a dynamic team.
• Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Reputation of providing outstanding customer service with past employers.
• Strong communication, customer service skills.
