Senior .Net Developer

Job Description:

GE Solucions is currently seeking a senior .Net Developer to join our team. The developer is responsible for managing and developing information system. This position works closely with the operations team to understand and meet technical project goals.
The Developer is responsible for ensuring all work is completed and is executed at the highest level of quality and efficiency. Managing multiple projects, continuously making updates and improvements to ongoing information systems.
The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for and thorough knowledge of .Net technology and be ready to learn new skills to grow personally and professionally.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The .NET Developer will design, develop, test, enhance, document, and deploy web pages, sites and applications as requested by the organization and will assist in maintaining said products. Primary Responsibilities Fall into the following categories:
• Work hands-on and provide the technical knowledge in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the enterprise information systems.
• Analyze information system requirements, create designs, and provide documentation by utilizing Ge Solucions specified tools and methodologies.
• Provide information system technology solutions by adhering to Ge Solucions prescribed life-cycle tools and methodologies.
• Translate business requirements into information system features. Maintain and update existing information system. Design and develop information systems to aid on-going business processes.
• May provide a variety of services ranging from day-to-day support, maintenance, design, development, and trouble-shooting to improve, advance, or simplify our business processes.
• May define standards and procedures, refine methods and techniques for information modeling and best practices for application software development and deployment.
• Lead, manage, mentor, and communicate with development resources.
• Playing a leadership role in taking projects from concept to launch, and coordinating design and development efforts.
• Reviewing design and development work

Skills Required:

Skills, Education and Experience Requirement

A successful .NET Developer will have the following:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expert in JavaScript, ASP.net, HTML5, HTML/XHTML, C#
• Knowledge of secure SDLC, SharePoint, MS SQL Server, JQuery.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
