Job Description:

As a advertising Web/Tv presenter you would work online or on TV, introducing and hosting programs, interviewing people and reporting on issues and events. If you’ve got an outgoing personality and love working with people, this could be the ideal job for you.
You would need to have excellent personal presentation and a clear voice. You’ll also need to have a good memory to recall facts and be able to improvise if something unplanned happens.
You could work on all kinds of live or recorded programs, including:
sport
children's entertainment
game shows
special interest programs such as travel or history

Your main purpose would be engage with the audience and keep their interest throughout the program:
meeting with the production team to go through the running order
being briefed by researchers, or preparing your own scripts, links and interview questions
Rehearsing
Presenting, which may include reading from an auto-cue, interviewing guests.
Going through several 'takes' if necessary.

Skills Required:

Confidence and an outgoing personality, excellent communication and presentation skills, a flexible approach, the ability to improvise when necessary, research and interviewing skills, calmness under pressure, the ability to work to strict deadlines a good memory, for recalling scripts and facts the ability to work on more than one task at a time, great team-working skills.
Coordinate and handle creation of daily show graphics
Use all production elements accurately, consistently and creatively
Look for engaging and compelling video and photo content to be used in shows
Present unique story ideas and angles in daily editorial meeting
Collaborates with show host and producers to determine execution of show content
Communicate effectively with all teams including control room staff
Effectively time live segments and entire show with a good sense of pacing, energy and urgency
Be engaged and take part in all meetings
